There are many more plant types in the Australian landscape that are captured in this section. This includes wetland plants – those which cope with damp soil with the roots in the water or on the edges of water. They are excellent for:

• Planting in damp spots or those that can be wet or dry
• Filtering dams and water courses
• Restoring water courses
• Providing habitat 
• Softening the edge of water features
