Ferns
Ferns are vascular plants which reproduce by spores, not having either seeds or flowers. They are characterised by having fronds which unfurl as they grow.
Ferns are great in the garden:
- Ideal in those damp and shady spots particularly where there is plenty of organic matter
- Relatively easy to grow, just requiring some water and mulch in very dry periods
- Look delicate with their often pale green colour
